Small Introduction

All geography-freaks know that there are 193 countries in the world that are officially accepted by the United Nations (See the list of the UN member states). However, it's true that sometimes territories like Palestine, Taiwan, Kosovo or Tibet are seen as countries. So, we could say that the world contains approximately 200 countries.

But, actually, the world has got over 400 countries, and half of them are unrecognized and self-proclaimed tiny pieces of land (like islets, houses, farms, sea forts and even space satellites!). Those countries are the so-called micronations.
